FAQ — Angel City Taxi | Los Angeles Taxi Service

Question 1

How do I book a ride?

Accepted Answer

You can book online through our website in under two minutes, or call us directly at (323) 877-6747. We're available 24/7 to take your reservation.

Question 2

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking at least 2 hours in advance for standard rides, and 24 hours ahead for airport pickups and special events. That said, we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests — just give us a call.

Question 3

Can I book a round trip?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. You can book your return ride at the same time as your outbound trip. Just mention it in the notes field when booking online, or let us know when you call.

Question 4

Do you track my flight?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For all airport pickups, we monitor your flight in real time. If your flight is delayed, we adjust your pickup time automatically — no extra charge, no need to call us.

Question 5

Where do you pick me up at LAX?

Accepted Answer

We meet you at the arrivals curb for your terminal. For LAX, we can also meet you at the LAX-it lot if you prefer. Your driver will send you their exact location once you land.

Question 6

Which airports do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve all major LA-area airports: LAX (Los Angeles International), BUR (Hollywood Burbank), LGB (Long Beach), ONT (Ontario), and SNA (John Wayne/Orange County).

Question 7

Do you charge surge pricing?

Accepted Answer

Never. Angel City Taxi uses flat rates — what you're quoted is what you pay, regardless of traffic, time of day, or demand. No surprises on your receipt.

Question 8

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash, and Apple Pay. Corporate account clients are invoiced monthly.

Question 9

Are there any hidden fees?

Accepted Answer

No hidden fees. Your quoted fare covers the ride. Tolls are included in airport flat rates. Gratuity is appreciated but never required.

Question 10

How much luggage can I bring?

Accepted Answer

Standard sedans comfortably fit 2 large suitcases and 2 carry-ons. If you have more luggage or a larger group, book an SUV or minivan — just let us know when reserving.

Question 11

Are your drivers licensed and background-checked?

Accepted Answer

Every driver on our team is fully licensed, insured, and has passed a thorough background check. We also require ongoing training to maintain our service standards.

Question 12

Can I request a specific driver?

Accepted Answer

If you've had a great experience with one of our drivers, let us know when booking and we'll do our best to match you. We can't guarantee availability, but we always try.

Question 13

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations made more than 1 hour before your scheduled pickup are free of charge. Late cancellations (under 1 hour) may incur a small fee. No-shows are charged the base fare.

Question 14

Can I change my pickup time after booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes — call us at (323) 877-6747 or reply to your confirmation email and we'll update your reservation. We ask for at least 30 minutes notice when possible.
